Primary English Section held a classroom observation and exchange event on November 14 in collaboration with the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) . Led by Dr. Zhao Wenmin from USJ, 18 Year 2 students from various countries visited our school. During this exchange, both our students and the USJ participants gained valuable insights—USJ students not only deepened their understanding of the primary classroom teaching model but also accumulated precious practical experience.
Student Summer from USJ shared, “I was very fortunate to have this opportunity to visit and observe classes in CDSJ5. This was a valuable chance to see firsthand how teaching strategies are implemented in a real classroom.” Additionally, student John expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality, noting, “A huge thank you to USJ & CDSJ5 teachers and staff for hosting this wonderful observational field trip! The insights gained were invaluable, and we left feeling inspired and grateful for the learning opportunity!”
During recess, the USJ students and our P6 students enjoyed friendly conversations, sharing snippets of their lives, creating a warm and lively atmosphere.
Special thanks to Dr. Zhao Wenmin and the USJ students for providing an opportunity for our English teacher Ms. Ramos and General Studies teacher Ms. Lam to showcase their lessons?. This university and primary school educational exchange was a resounding success, resulting in unforgettable interactions among our students and teachers! We look forward to meeting again next time for more exchanges .
小學英文部於11月14日與聖若瑟大學（USJ）舉辦了課堂觀摩交流活動。這次活動由USJ的趙聞敏教授帶領18位來自不同國家的大二學生來訪。在這次交流中，我們的師生都受益匪淺——USJ的學生不僅深入了解了小學課堂的教學模式，還積累了寶貴的實踐經驗。
