The 3rd Macao-wide English Poetry Writing and Recital Contest

      PES students joined the Macao-wide English Poetry Writing and Recital Contest under the theme of “Macao, The Garden Of Life”. The competition aims to promote English literacy and creativity among local youth through poetry. All the poems pivoted around the topics of “Beauty in the eye of the beholder”, “Wisdom of the ages”, and “Emotions running over”. Each participant had to write an original poem. Finalists had to memorize and recite their work at the Final Contest Recital. 

      Congratulations to P4 Chio Ian Wun Hannah for winning the Second Runner-Up in Elementary Category. Her poem “Exploring the Beauty of Macau” describes the beauty and tranquility of nature in various places in Macau. The poem also conveys a message of admiration for the natural world and the need to cherish and protect its beauty.
