Huge congratulations to our debate stars! 🎤✨ Our students participated in the Secondary School Debate Challenge (Chinese Mainland, Macau, and Hong Kong) (SSDC) held at Pui Ching Middle School on 25-26 April.
This prestigious competition featured a highly demanding British Parliamentary (BP) format, requiring students to prepare their arguments within just 15 minutes of receiving the motion. Competing against elite debate teams from Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macau, our representatives demonstrated exceptional critical thinking, eloquence, and teamwork. After 4 debate rounds, our students qualified for the Semi-Finals and Grand Finals. After a total of 6 rounds of intense intellectual exchange, they emerged as the Champions! Ally Loi also won the Best Speaker Prize (Top 5) in the Grand Final Round! 🏆 Beyond the competition, this event provided a precious opportunity for our students to engage in deep intellectual and cultural exchange with talented peers from across the region.
